Strategic Vision Various principles and values dominate the work of the Ministry of NGO Affairs, the most important of which are as follows: 1. The Ministry is established to serve and develop civil society in Palestine. 2. All NGOs are equally important, regardless of their size or location. 3. Civil work is one of the main components in developing civil society. 4. Working with NGOs on the basis of partnership and complementarily at all levels. 5. Transparency and professionalism. 6. Right person in the right place. 7. Team spirit. 8. Openness to all schools of thought in civil society taking into consideration the Palestinian particularity. 9. Relying on Palestinian expertise in civil work. 10. Equal and fair opportunities for both sexes. 11. Democracy, pluralism and dominance of law are the basis of a democratic society. 12. Voluntarism is an important component of NGO’ activities 13. Cooperation, coordination and complementarity between civil society, public sector and popular activities are the bases for sustainable human development. 14. Belief in voluntarism in civil work. Jerusalem NGOs have a central role in maintaining the Palestinian and Arab identity of Jerusalem. |
